We specialise in service, repairs and restoration of all Italian cars, classic or modern.

We are also experienced motorsport enthusiasts

Motorsport preperation and support available for classic rallying, modern rallying circuit racing and sprinting.

We have competed ourselves for over 15 years and currently own Alfa 147 BTCC cars, Alfa 147 S1600 and Lancia fulvia historic rally car. We have prepared and supported cars that compete in Historic Monte Carlo Rally and circuit racing with excellent results.

 All types of work undertaken   service work, timing belts, all mechanical work, engine rebuilds, gearbox rebuilds, welding and fabrication as well in house………..all work guaranteed fully

 We will not cut corners ,we will endeavour to offer value for money always and appreciate how important it is to keep our customers, without their loyalty we would not exist…………our company has always been built on reputation.

We are not ‘fast fit’ nor do we have a plush showroom, we don’t do ‘limited special offers’ through the workshop, but we are able to keep our labour rate low because of our rural location and freehold workshop

Too many people have been treated badly by unsympathetic garages, this is why we are here…….to help keep the passion for Italian cars alive and make the ownership of the cars more affordable.

History:

Paxton garage was born in 1986 through the need in the area for a good reliable alternative to the Lancia dealers that were overcharging customers at the time.

Natural progression through the years has meant that we have the experience to cover most situations that may arise with Italian cars.

Allitalia Ltd was formed in 2000 with a new purpose built workshop to cater for the ever expanding customer base with the extremely successful Alfa 156/147 range

All post 1960 Italian cars are catered for, welding and fabrication a speciality, we have collected a lot of specialist tools and equipment from  retired dealers including early FLT testers for Lancia models.

We know how to balance carbs, adjust points and set mixtures

Due to demand these days we have now limited our range t o Historic and Modern Classic Italian cars

We have invested thousands in necessary equipment to diagnose problems with the modern classic

Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Fiat are our main focus, but we have regular visits from other makes .. All Italian of course. Ferrari, Maserati and even Autobianchi.

Motorsport:

We have always had an interest in motorsport, from competing ourselves in Alfa, Lancia and Fiats to preparing customer race and rally cars.

This has enabled us to prepare and support a Lancia Fulvia 1.6 in the Monte Carlo Historic Rally with great results.

Projects ongoing include Alfa 147 S1600 Rally Car,  Alfa 147 BTCC Race car, Lancia Fulvia Historic Rally car and Lancia Stratos replica sprint car.

This all adds to our experience which crosses over to day to day customer cars

Legendary Lancias

Our passion for Lancia runs deep, from the Lancia Fulvia to the iconic Integrale, we spend a lot of our time refurbishing and repairing these cars. From the obvious welding and fabrication that is required to preparation for Motorsport use

Most owners will know that the Integrale can be a temperamental beast to own and we have the patience and experience to keep these on the road. Our mission is always to work closely with the owners to try to keep within the budget they can afford.

The ever increasing value of these cars is reflected by the amount of cars we see for major overhaul, however we believe that they are built to enjoy all year round!

Italianspares:

Over the years we have purchased a large amount of ex Dealer bankrupt and old stock parts, you can search by part number, we may have that illusive part you require

We also list special performance parts such as lightweight flywheels on the Italianspares site, it is always being updated so keep checking back
